Mavroos said the Indian drugmaker has submitted the FDA application to the FDA for approval for the product. But he said it has not received any positive feedback from the FDA and does not know if the drug will be approved.
The company said it was working with the FDA on a drug that could improve blood flow to the penis and allow men to achieve and maintain an erection when sexually aroused.
Mavroos said the Indian product is used for erectile dysfunction, which affects millions of men worldwide.
The FDA had approved the drug for use in treating erectile dysfunction, but the company said it has not received any positive feedback from the FDA.
“While we are continuing to work with the FDA to determine whether it is appropriate to use this drug in the treatment of erectile dysfunction, we do not know if the drug will be approved in the U. as of Nov. 9,” Mavroos said.
